A Message from WiredPeople:We are seeking a highly skilled Application Developer/Programmer to join the FCOE CORE Team. In this role, you will take on both support and lead responsibilities across various projects, ensuring the protection of statewide configurations while adhering to accounting procedures. This position is full-time and a 100% remote schedule will be allowed. Core Responsibilities:System Implementation & Support: Provide functional support for PeopleSoft Project Implementations, and deliver functional production support for all respective PeopleSoft Modules.Analysis & Design: Translate functional requirements into technical specifications. Work individually or with a System Integrator to identify, document, and design workflow processes that meet both agency and statewide requirements within the Accounts Payable (AP) and Travel & Expense (T&E) modules.Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with PeopleSoft Business Analysts, System Analysts, System Integrators, Oracle, CAR, and external stakeholders for functional and technical support. Communicate proficiently with agency, technical, and functional users.Testing & Quality Assurance: Assist with testing patches and fixes, Financials PUM Upgrade testing, and PeopleSoft Test Framework maintenance and scripts. Prepare test scenarios, test scripts, and configuration documents.Risk Management: Identify risks and obstacles within a project and provide thorough assessments to FCoE, IS, CAR, and other OMES leadership.Documentation & Training: Update manuals, job aids, SOPs, training materials, and other documents as needed.Daily Duties:Routine Reporting: Weekly status reports outlining work accomplished for the reporting period.Project Documentation: Development Requests produced in accordance with state guidelines, project plans, and tech configuration/setup steps as needed.Analysis & Workflows: Fit/gap documentation and documented agency T&E and AP workflow requirements.Testing & QA: Documented test scripts and test results.Training & Handovers: Completed training guides and documentation.Support & Completion: Timely completion of production support, with projects fully tested and signed off by state resources and respective stakeholders.Technical & Functional RequirementsCore Platform Proficiency: Highly proficient with PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 and PUM 53.Development Tools & Languages: Skilled in Component Interfaces, SQR, App Engine, People Code, PeopleTools, SQL Developer, and BI Publisher.Module Expertise: Knowledgeable in Grants, Projects Costing, Contracts, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense, Treasury, General Ledger, Commitment Control, and Asset Management.Domain Knowledge: Thorough understanding of State of Oklahoma Accounting procedures, policies, and standards.Preferred QualificationsDirect experience working with the State of Oklahoma and/or prior government agency experience.Hands-on experience with the current PeopleSoft PUM Image.Ready to build your legacy?
