This role sits at the center of our growth engine, responsible for transforming how data is collected, structured, and leveraged to power AI, analytics, and product excellence at scale.As VP of Data, you’ll own the strategy, systems, and teams that form the backbone of our data-driven platform. You’ll lead our Data Engineering, Architecture, and Data Science functions, guiding them toward innovation, precision, and measurable business impact.This is an ideal opportunity for a deeply technical and business-minded executive who has led large-scale data transformations, built high-performing technical organizations, and thrives on turning complexity into clarity.If you’re passionate about building world-class data platforms, driving AI adoption, and leading teams that shape the future of intelligence in SaaS, Dynatron is where you can make your mark.What You’ll DoDesign and execute a data vision and strategy that positions Dynatron as a leader in data-driven decision-making and automotive intelligence.Lead and scale a world-class organization spanning Data Engineering, Architecture, Analytics, and Data Science, ensuring excellence across platforms, pipelines, and products.Architect for growth: Oversee the design and evolution of our data ecosystem, from data lakes and real-time streaming to machine learning and AI applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.Advance innovation: Champion the integration of next-generation AI and ML technologies to unlock predictive, prescriptive, and generative insights that drive business outcomes.Collaborate across functions: Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure data strategy directly supports company objectives and product differentiation.Drive governance and trust: Establish policies, controls, and frameworks for data quality, compliance, and security across all systems and sources.Measure and optimize: Define and track KPIs for data reliability, accessibility, and business impact, using insights to guide strategic investment and improvement.Inspire excellence: Build and nurture a high-performing, innovative team that thrives on collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.What You Bring15+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, analytics, or data science, including at least 8 years in senior leadership roles.Proven track record building and scaling enterprise-grade data platforms in B2B SaaS or high-growth technology environments.Deep technical expertise in modern data stacks, including Airflow, dbt, Kafka, Fivetran, Snowflake, Databricks, and Redshift, with hands-on understanding of Python, SQL, and data modeling.Demonstrated experience leading AI and machine learning initiatives, including integration of large language models and applied ML systems into production environments.Strong command of data governance, observability, security, and privacy frameworks.Strategic thinker who can balance innovation with execution, driving both vision and measurable results.Exceptional communication and influence skills, with the ability to align executives, engineers, and stakeholders around a shared data vision.Experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets and building scalable, distributed teams.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.CompensationBase Salary: $230K-$260KBonus: 20%Equity: Participation in Dynatron's Equity Incentive PlanBenefits SummaryComprehensive health, vision, and dental insuranceEmployer-paid short- and long-term disability and life insurance401(K) with competitive company matchFlexible vacation policy and 9 paid holidaysRemote-first culture with quarterly in-person planning sessionsJoin UsAt Dynatron, we believe data is more than an asset, it's our competitive edge.
