Requirements and responsibilities

Responsibilities: - Prepare and analyze project estimates and cost breakdowns. - Review plans, specifications, and project requirements to determine the full scope of work. - Assist with bidding processes and proposals, including sending bid invites to subcontractors. - Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and manage bid day top sheet with final sub costs. - Maintain organized records of estimates, supplier pricing, and backup documents. - Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and coordinate with subcontractors accordingly. - Create and send RFIs, substitution request packages, and distribute addenda. - Prepare post-bid documents, SOV, and project turnover packages for the field team. Preferred Skills & Tools: - Proficiency in estimating software. - Advanced Excel skills. - Experience with CRM systems. - Familiarity with Buildertrend. - Comfortable with time-tracking tools. Qualifications: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Detail-oriented with accuracy in numbers and estimates. - Organized with the ability to manage multiple projects. - Experience in construction or estimating highly preferred. - Tech-savvy and comfortable with industry software. - Bilingual preferred. - Ability to start within 5-7 days. - Experience with dialers and time-tracking tools is a plus.
