We’re looking for a skilled, detail-oriented, and creative WordPress Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites for our clients. You’ll work closely with designers, SEO specialists, project managers, and the marketing team to deliver high-quality, responsive, and performance-driven websites while ensuring an exceptional user experience.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using custom themes and plugins.Build responsive, mobile-friendly, and user-focused websites following modern web development standards.Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins based on client requirements.Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, CRMs, and other external services.Optimize website speed, performance, Core Web Vitals, and overall user experience.Implement on-page technical SEO best practices within WordPress websites.Perform website migrations, backups, updates, and ongoing maintenance.Ensure website security by implementing industry best practices.Work closely with designers to convert Figma, Adobe XD, or PSD designs into fully functional WordPress websites.Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time.Maintain proper documentation for website configurations, customizations, and development processes.Requirements2–3 years of professional experience in WordPress development.Experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.Strong understanding of Elementor, Bricks Builder, Gutenberg, or similar page builders.Experience with WooCommerce customization and eCommerce website development.Knowledge of website optimization, Core Web Vitals, caching, and performance tuning.Experience integrating third-party APIs and external services.Familiarity with Git/version control and modern development workflows.Basic understanding of technical SEO and website security best practices.Experience with website migration, backup, and hosting environments.Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.How to ApplySave your CV file name as: Your Name – WordPress DeveloperEmail Subject Line: Your Name – WordPress DeveloperSend your CV and cover letter to: support@nextgenwizards.com
