Responsibilities

About the Role We are looking for a personable, technically capable Software Demo & Customer Onboarding Specialist to help roofing contractors successfully evaluate, adopt, and use our roofing CRM platform. This is not a high-pressure sales position. Your job is to understand how a roofing company operates, demonstrate how the software can improve its workflow, and then help new customers successfully transition from their existing CRM or business systems onto our platform. You will work directly with roofing company owners, managers, sales teams, office staff, and administrators. Once a company signs up, you will help guide them through setup, data migration, training, launch, and ongoing support. The ideal candidate is comfortable on Zoom, learns software quickly, communicates clearly, and can patiently guide customers who range from highly technical to people who simply want someone to show them exactly what to click. Key Responsibilities Software Demonstrations • Conduct live Zoom/video demonstrations for roofing companies interested in the CRM. • Learn enough about each company's current process to tailor the demonstration to their needs. • Clearly demonstrate features, workflows, integrations, reporting, automation, and other capabilities. • Answer technical and operational questions during demonstrations. • Document questions or technical issues that need to be escalated to the development team. • Follow a standardized demo process while still making each presentation conversational and relevant. Customer Onboarding Once a roofing company becomes a customer, you will help take them from "we signed up" to "our team is successfully using the system." • Conduct onboarding and kickoff meetings. • Gather information about the customer's existing CRM and business processes. • Create and manage an onboarding checklist for each account. • Configure company information, users, permissions, workflows, pipelines, and settings. • Coordinate integrations with other software and services. • Help customers understand how their existing processes translate into the new CRM. • Train owners, administrators, salespeople, production teams, and office staff. • Conduct follow-up training sessions when necessary. • Track onboarding progress and make sure customers do not stall during implementation. CRM Migration Many customers will already be using another roofing or construction CRM. You will help coordinate their migration, including: • Understanding their existing CRM structure. • Identifying what information needs to be migrated. • Coordinating exports of customer, lead, job, contact, and other relevant data. • Reviewing data for completeness before migration. • Working with our technical team when more complex migrations are required. • Verifying migrated information with the customer. • Helping customers transition workflows from their previous CRM into the new system. • Making sure the customer understands what will and will not transfer before migration begins. Technical expectation: You do not need to be a software developer, but you should be technically comfortable and able to learn how CRM databases, integrations, imports/exports, and workflows operate. Customer Support After launch, you will also be one of the people customers can rely on for help. This includes: • Answering software questions through email, chat, phone, and video calls. • Troubleshooting basic user issues. • Helping customers configure or modify their accounts. • Creating short instructional videos or screen recordings when helpful. • Maintaining FAQs and internal documentation. • Identifying recurring customer problems that should be addressed through training or product improvements. • Escalating bugs and advanced technical issues to the appropriate team. • Following up with customers until their issue is resolved. What We're Looking For Required • Excellent spoken and written English. • Strong communication and presentation skills. • Comfortable speaking with U.S.-based business owners and executives. • Comfortable conducting live software demonstrations over Zoom or similar platforms. • Strong computer and general technical skills. • Ability to learn new software quickly. • Experience with CRM, SaaS, project management, or business software. • Highly organized and able to manage multiple customer implementations simultaneously. • Patient and professional when helping less-technical customers. • Strong problem-solving skills. • Reliable high-speed internet and a professional remote-work environment. • Ability to work primarily during U.S. business hours. Strongly Preferred Experience with one or more of the following: • Roofing or construction industry • Roofing CRM software • SaaS customer success • Software implementation • Customer onboarding • CRM migration • Technical customer support • Software training • Account management Especially valuable platforms: AccuLynx, JobNimbus, ServiceTitan, Roofr, Salesforce, HubSpot, GoHighLevel, CompanyCam, or similar systems. The Person Who Will Excel in This Position You don't have to know everything about roofing or our CRM on day one. You do need to be someone who can learn a system thoroughly enough to confidently teach it to someone else. "We're currently using another CRM. We have thousands of customers and jobs in there. Show me how your system works, explain how we're going to move everything over, and help me get my team using it." Your job is to confidently guide that customer through the entire process. Success in This Role • Quality and professionalism of software demonstrations • Demo-to-onboarding handoff • Speed of customer implementation • Percentage of customers successfully completing onboarding • Customer adoption and usage • Migration accuracy • Customer satisfaction • Support response and resolution time • Ability to independently resolve customer questions • Quality of documentation and training materials • Reduction in customers requiring repeated support for the same issues What matters most: We care more about your ability to communicate, learn technology, solve problems, and work well with customers than having a specific degree.
