Think about long sales cycles, technical conversations, and partnerships that actually go somewhere.Reporting directly to IQ Inc’s CEO, you won’t just execute a strategy, you’ll help shape it.WHAT YOU'LL DODrive business development for the Medical Devices domagned with Critical Software/IQ's broader strategy, going after new business from established medical device and healthcare technology companies to venture-backed startupsTrack the medical devices' ecosystem (tracking OEMs, scale-ups, technology partners, and how the regulatory landscape shifts) to spot where Critical/IQ's safety-critical, regulated software expertise genuinely stands outWork inbound leads and go after the outbound ones too, reaching the right decision-makers directlyBuild trust with the people who matter, from engineering and quality leads to business and executive stakeholdersOwn consultative sales cycles start to finish: discovery, positioning, proposal, negotiation, close,Partner closely with engineering and delivery teams to build proposals that are technically credible, not just polishedBring structure to how we sell, putting real process, methodology, and forecasting contribute to strategic account planning and long-term account growth initiatives, providing regular updates and forecasts to senior managementRepresent Critical Software/IQ Inc. ustry events, and relevant medical technology forumsWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR5 to 10 years of experience ally withital Health, or other regulated technology environmentsExperience selling engineering services or complex technology solutions, not off-the-shelf productsSolid understanding of regulated medical software development at a business and customer-dialogue level; familiarity with frameworks such as FDA pathways, IEC 62304, or ISO 13485 is a plusExpertise bound sales, and lead generationA relationship-driven mindset, comfortable engaging with technical, quality, and senior customer stakeholdersStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear customer valueStructured, resilient, and self-driven, with a strong sense of ownership over opportunities and accountsWillingness to travel with requiredComfortable using AI tools to support and scale business development activitiesHOW YOU CAN INSPIREYou make hard calls quickly and with autonomy, taking decisions at your level rather than pushing every one upward, and you own what followsYou focus effort where it actually matters and step away from the opportunities that are not right for Critical/IQ, rather than chasing every dealYou see AI as the biggest shift of this generation and you act on it.
