This strategic and highly visible role involves significant client and corporate responsibilities, requiring regular interaction with clients, corporate staff, and internal Guidehealth stakeholders.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGClient Financial ServicesDeliver high-quality financial services to multiple clients in line with contracts.Maintain accurate client accounting records and provide timely financial statements and analysis.Assist clients with annual budgets and report performance against targets.Oversee client-related operations such as claim processing, funding, 1099s, cash management, and subrogation recoveries.Execute delegated financial transactions in compliance with contractual requirements.Revenue, Billing & Accounts ReceivableSupport client contract development to ensure proper financial service treatment and invoicing requirements.Document revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606.Oversee invoicing for Guidehealth services and reimbursable expenses.Ensure timely cash posting and follow up on outstanding receivables.Collaborate with corporate accounting and escalate issues as needed.Team LeadershipHire, train, and develop team members; set goals and delegate tasks.Provide coaching and ensure backup for key roles.Build strong internal and external client relationships.Internal Controls & ComplianceImplement and monitor policies and internal controls over assets and financial information.Lead audits of Guidehealth and client financial statements.Escalate compliance risks as appropriate.System ManagementEnsure SAGE financial system meets business needs and maintain system integrity.Collaborate with IT and Business Operations to integrate financial systems with platforms like Eldorado.Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance finance infrastructure.QualificationsWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVEBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA strongly preferred.10+ years of progressive accounting and reporting experience; public accounting experience a plus (Big 4 or mid-tier firm).Deep experience in healthcare finance (payer or health system), including:Benefit plan designHealth plan administrative operationsValue-based carePayer/provider contractingCapitation and fee-for-service payment modelsMedical cost reserves (IBNR) and reinsuranceRisk-sharing arrangementsProven ability to manage client-consultant engagements and build strong relationships with client leadership and staff.Expertise in monthly financial close, reporting, revenue management, invoicing, accounts receivable, banking, and cash controls.Skilled in interpreting client contracts for revenue recognition and service requirements.Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills with a collaborative mindset.Experience with integrated ERP systems (QuickBooks) and financial reporting tools.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Strong process improvement and systems optimization skills; ability to leverage technology for scale.WHO YOU AREA values-driven leader who fosters trust, collaboration, and operational excellence.Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to meet internal and client expectations for timing and quality of deliverables.Proactive problem-solver who addresses issues before they escalate.Skilled at building credible, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Additional InformationThe base pay range for this role is between $140,000.00 to $150,000.00 annuallyALIVE with Purpose: How We Thrive at GuidehealthAt Guidehealth, our values come to life in everything we do.We are Driven by Accountability grounded in transparency, reliability, and integrity as we navigate challenges and opportunities alike.Always Growing, Always Learning staying curious and continuously improving inspires us to shape a better future for healthcare.With Collaborative Innovation, we solve problems creatively, making every experience better for our employees and the patients we serve.At Guidehealth, Every Voice Matters we believe our collective strength is rooted in the unique perspectives of each team member.And through Empathy in Action, we build stronger connections with those who count on us.This is what it means to be ALIVE with purpose.
