Data Analytics Engineer – Direct-hire (FTE) Overview This is an excellent opportunity for a Data Analytics Engineer who enjoys building scalable, AWS-based analytics solutions, executing against a clear roadmap, and working closely with both technical teams and the business. The role sits at the intersection of data engineering and analytics and plays a key role in executing a well-defined analytics roadmap. This includes building a centralized reporting and forecasting platform using AWS technologies such as S3, Redshift, and QuickSight to support business decision-making. The foundational architecture is already in place, tools have been selected, and multiple projects are planned. This role is focused on strong execution, collaboration, and consistent delivery. Job details * Design, build, and maintain scalable data models aligned with business needs. * Develop and support automated data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading. * Work with AWS S3 as the data lake layer and transform data downstream using Redshift and QuickSight. * Implement data quality checks and testing to ensure data accuracy and reliability. * Support and enhance reporting and forecasting solutions for business users. * Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, developers, and business process owners. * Document data models, pipelines, and transformations to ensure long-term usability. * Identify and resolve data-related issues efficiently and effectively. * Execute against an established roadmap, delivering high-quality work on time. Key initiatives on the roadmap * Forecasting tool. * Sales reporting. * COPA reporting. Skills needed for success * Strong AWS experience, including S3, Redshift, and QuickSight. * Advanced SQL skills. * Data modeling, including relational and dimensional models. * Hands-on experience with data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL processes. * Programming experience in Python or similar languages. * Strong data quality best practices. * Experience working with BI tools and analytics platforms. Education * Bachelor’s degree required. * Master’s degree in applied data analytics preferred.
