About CoderPadCoderPad's mission is to create a more inclusive and strong tech community. By improving the technical interviewing experience with tools that allow for standardization and consistency, while reducing bias and increasing equality of opportunity.CoderPad is the global leader in the technical interview space (4,000+ customers in 165+ countries). CoderPad provides real-time, AI-augmented platforms that allow companies to evaluate developers on the latest technologies through live coding and collaborative environments. What does a Product Manager (PM) at CoderPad do?As a PM, you will own the roadmap for our most forward-looking work: AI-assisted code generation, inline editing, and intelligent planning modes built directly into CoderPad — think Cursor’s ask/edit/plan experience, purpose-built for technical interviews. You’ll also drive product strategy for adjacent technical use cases ranging from DevOps tooling and mobile emulation to spreadsheets and non-technical use cases. The team is distributed across Europe and the US and operates in a deeply async way — strong written communication isn’t a nice-to-have here, it’s the job. What you'll be doing:Own and evolve squad product roadmap from discovery through deliveryBe in the driver's seat alongside design and engineering — not as a spec-writer, but as a builder who leads product direction and uses AI to move faster, go deeper, and contribute to a fast based, customer-obsessed teamStay deeply informed on the AI developer tools landscape (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code, and what’s next)Define success metrics for AI features upfront and drive iteration based on dataActively engage customers to gather feedback and translate it into product decisionsSolve customer problems directly — not just through product specs, but sometimes by hand; we believe in doing things that don't scale until you've learned enough to build them at scaleUse AI tools actively in your own daily workflow — to research, prototype, write, and buildWhat you should bring:3+ years of product management at a B2B SaaS companyExperience owning technically complex products; must have worked closely with engineering on technical or developer-oriented productsActive familiarity with AI-powered developer tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code, or similar) — as a daily user with opinionsExceptional written communication — you’ll be judged by the clarity of your docs as much as your decisionsSelf-directed and proactive — you identify problems before being askedOrganized, reliable async collaborator across timezonesWilling to do things that don't scale — gets into the weeds of a customer problem before there's a scalable solution; not above manual work as a tool for learningBenefits for YouWe are a geographically distributed company. We entrust every team member – personally and professionally. If you enjoy working with a diverse group that truly values team collaboration, we are interested in hearing from you. While these benefits are specific for full-time US-based employees, qualified candidates from other countries may be considered at CoderPad. All of the benefits below may not apply depending on an employee's country of residence and employment type, though appropriate compensation and benefits will still be offered.Meaningful work with high impact for a well-loved productCompetitive, market-rate salariesStock options with a 4-year vesting scheduleMedical, dental, and vision insurance (90% covered for employees and dependents)Flexible Spending Account (FSA)401K with profit sharingUnlimited paid time off with an expectation of taking 3 weeks annually in addition to 20 company holidaysRemote-friendly environment with monthly WFH stipendParental leave (primary: 16 weeks; secondary: 12 weeks)Short- and long-term disability and life insurance coverageChoice of laptop computerInternal mobility and growth opportunitiesAnd more…Work authorizationTo work at CoderPad, employees must have the permanent and unrestricted right to work in their country of residence without needing present or future sponsorship from the company.AI disclaimerWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
