Virtual Assistant — Lead Generation & Nurturing
The Real Poetic Paradox, LLC Hours: 10 hrs/week (part-time, remote) Compensation:$15 per hour Reports to: Christine Vargo, LCSW, Founder
About The Real Poetic Paradox
My mission with the Real Poetic Paradox, LLC is to offer my clients a deeper understanding of how early childhood experiences and conditioning can impact queer adult relationships, and to bring greater awareness of what’s happening with our nervous systems when we begin to feel unsafe in love. The paradoxes of longing & independence, tenderness & self-protection, and desire & fear give us insight into the complex dynamics that also include the intersections of identity and expression, what it means to “come out” later in life, and a deeper understanding of attachment dynamics unique to the LGBTQIA+ community.
Role Overview
Seeking a detail-oriented, emotionally intelligent Virtual Assistant to track leads across social platforms (Instagram, TikTok). This person will follow up with new followers, engage with leads to assess for interest in 1:1 or groups offered by Christine, and ensure the current funnel is tracked and maintained successfully.
You'll be interacting with a warm, real audience from the LGBTQIA+ community navigating vulnerable topics (heartbreak, attachment wounds, queer identity, self-worth), so tone, discretion, and emotional attunement matter as much as the technical tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation
Monitor social media posts daily for DMs, comments, story replies, and profile engagement
Identify and tag warm leads based on defined engagement criteria (established in onboarding)
Move leads through the funnel using existing scripts/templates, escalating high-intent leads to Christine directly
Track funnel metrics (DM response rates, click-throughs, conversion touchpoints) in a shared tracker
Flag patterns or drop-off points in the funnel for review
Lead Nurturing
Send warm, on-brand follow-up messages to leads who've engaged but haven't converted
Maintain a consistent, human (not bot-like) cadence of outreach without over-messaging
Recognize and appropriately handle sensitive disclosures (e.g., a lead sharing a personal crisis) by following an established escalation protocol — this is not a clinical role, and boundaries here are non-negotiable
Keep a simple CRM or spreadsheet of lead status, notes, and next steps
Brand Voice & Quality Control
Study and internalize brand voice guidelines: warm, poetic, psychologically informed, non-shaming, neurodivergence-aware, LGBTQIA+ centered
Requirements
1+ years of experience as a social media VA, ideally supporting a coach, therapist, or personal brand
Comfort and cultural fluency with queer audiences; lived experience is a strong plus but not required
Discretion and emotional maturity — you will see people at vulnerable moments in their DMs
