Responsibilities

We're a commercial and municipal fleet maintenance business in Florida, and we're hiring our first business development and marketing person. You will not be one cog in a machine — you'll build the machine. NH Repairs is in Pompano Beach, Florida. We maintain and repair the fleets that local businesses and municipalities depend on — the work trucks of contractors, plumbers, electricians and landscapers, plus heavy-duty tractors and trailers. We're a small company with big plans, and we're growing. The hours are good. Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Eastern. Normal daytime hours — no nights, no graveyard, no weekends. What you'll actually do Service follow-up and retention — about 50% of your time This is the heart of the job. Leads slip through the cracks and you will stop that. Call back every missed call, same day, within minutes Work our deferred-repair list — vehicles already inspected, work already quoted, never scheduled Follow up on open estimates until we get an answer Call and text new inquiries within 5 minutes Reactivate customers we haven't seen in 6+ months Remind customers when maintenance is coming due Follow up after every repair and ask for a review Listen to every inbound call and log it in our shared attribution tracker so we know exactly which marketing is producing real work and which isn't. This is one of the most valuable things you'll do. Business development — about 40% We already have extensive target lists of local businesses and fleets. What we lack is discipline in working them. You will bring that. Run outbound email and SMS campaigns Find the right person at each company and start a conversation Follow up until you get a yes or a no Track every touch and every outcome Broader Marketing Initiatives — about 10% Collaborate with team to write and send a newsletter twice a month, using AI tools heavily — we expect you to work fast with them Collaborate with team on website, messaging, and other. Keep our messaging consistent across email, text and social Pull together simple graphics and content when we need them (temporary — we're hiring a dedicated creative person) Report on what's working and what isn't And whatever else the business needs. We're small. Titles are loose. If you see something broken and fix it, that gets noticed here. Systems you'll live in Fullbay — our shop management system. All repair orders, estimates and customer history live here. You'll learn it in your first two weeks. Super easy. Our phone and SMS platform — currently being upgraded; you'll help us make it work CRM, email marketing tools, Google Sheets, and AI writing tools You need to be genuinely comfortable with software — not an engineer, but the kind of person who opens a new tool and figures it out without a manual, and who spots a better way to do something and says so. Who we're looking for Fluent, natural spoken English. You'll be on the phone with American business owners and municipal fleet staff. Written English needs to be clean — you'll be writing emails and articles that represent us. Native or fully fluent Spanish. Many of our customers prefer it. This is a real requirement. Comfortable on the phone. Around 25 calls a day — steady, not punishing. Tech savvy. Comfortable in new software, spreadsheets, CRMs, and AI tools. Background we especially want: dealership service BDC, business development or SDR work on a US account, service scheduling, customer retention or reactivation, US collections, or contact-center work with an outbound component Also useful: email marketing platforms, basic design in Canva, copywriting, SEO Automotive, truck or fleet experience is a plus, not a requirement — we'll teach you the vehicles Relentless follow-up. Most of this job is the third and fourth touch. Reliable internet, quiet workspace, good headset Not a fit if You're looking for general admin or virtual assistant work You measure your work in emails sent rather than results You want a narrow job description that never changes How you'll be measured On vehicles that come through our bay doors because you got them there. Not calls made, not emails sent, not appointments booked. We'll show you the number every week.
