✅ Requirements:
◻️ Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related.
◻️ Previous work experience of at least 3 years as a QA engineer, QA tester or relevant position in the IT department, specifically as QA Automation.
◻️ Understanding of automation systems and databases.
◻️ Knowledge Selenium IDE.
◻️ Good problem-solving and analytical skills, attention to detail, strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, ability to manage project deadlines, good time management and organizational skills.
◻️ It's a nice to have if the candidate has knowledge of Newman, Selenium WebDriver, Gherkin, Cucumber, and Karate.
✅ Responsibilities:
◻️ Plan and prioritize test cases to automate.
◻️ Execute the programming of test cases to be automated.
◻️ Identify and suggest possible test cases to be programmed.
◻️ Propose new ways to improve our automated testing capabilities, as you develop and implement them.
◻️ Calculate the time and effort required for the programming and execution of tests.
◻️ Coordinate with the functional testing team to complement the test plan.
◻️ Being able to replicate the bugs found and identify automated tests that cover a bug.
◻️ Be able to identify functionality that is covered by automated tests.
◻️ Identify risks and propose contingency plans.
◻️ It will be in charge of the installation and configuration of the necessary software to program the tests.
◻️ He will be in charge of correcting the problems in the programming of test cases.
◻️ Run regression tests when necessary.
◻️ Contribute to the design of automation in the execution of the tests.
◻️ Document and maintain test code on GitHub.
◻️ Actively participate in continuous improvement by keeping up with new tools and testing strategies.
