Responsibilities

* Contractor * Flexible: part-time (5–20 hours / week). * \$6/hour. * Paid project (\$20) into interview and hire. * Remote (must be able to take occasional calls during EST working hours). * Experience in data analysis, data visualization, statistics, SQL, SEO, and/or creating content is helpful, but not necessary. About the role We are hiring a data analyst to design and produce summaries of global recruitment data. The role will be a mix of making data queries, charting data, and writing about data. Your words, charts, and insights will help our customers, potential clients, trade publications, and others understand and be interested in jobs data and the labor market. If there’s a good fit, we will have as much work for you as you’d like, and you can set your own hours. The ideal hire: * Capable. * Ambitious. * Curious. * Proactively communicates about questions and blockers. * Is familiar with AI tools like ChatGPT. About the paid project The first step of the interview process is to do a \$20 paid project with a 3-hour time limit. This project is an example of the work you will do after being hired. For the project, you will write a proposal for a data report, including what questions you’d like to answer, what assumptions you’ll make about the data, the SQL necessary to pull the raw data, and how you plan to transform the raw data. Example data reports and an explanation video will be provided for you. A pair of recruitment data charts from other companies in the industry are included below, as a general reference: [https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kB79woinst3o4\_-xvs-n869ipYrIgoGI/view?usp=sharing](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kB79woinst3o4_-xvs-n869ipYrIgoGI/view?usp=sharing) You are encouraged to submit your work before the time limit. Even if the project is not finished after 3 hours, please submit your work at that point. Apply below to move forward with the paid project.
