About the Role:
- We’re hiring a skilled Node.js/TypeScript Backend Developer who wants to move fast, build smart, and take on the responsibility of delivering world-class software to an industry that’s barely touched by modern tech.
- We’re looking for someone who thrives on ownership, loves shipping products that matter, and sees AI as an inflection point for how software is built and delivered.
What You'll Do:
- Develop new features across the stack with a strong bias toward front-end velocity and customer impact.
- Build and improve scalable, reliable backend systems, with a focus on performance and modularity.
- Rapidly prototype and test new product ideas, AI capabilities, and customer-facing tools.
- Set engineering best practices across architecture, code quality, and tooling.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and operations to deliver thoughtful, elegant, and scalable solutions.
- Identify and deploy AI-native tools (e.g., LLMs, copilots, automation) that increase developer productivity and product impact.
What We're Looking For:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a top 3 university in your country.
- Strong full-stack engineering background with modern frameworks (Node.js, React, TypeScript, Python, Postgres, etc.).
- Experience with modern AI-enhanced development tools (e.g., Cursor, Windsurf, Copilot) and excitement about their future.
- Passion for speed — you move fast, build quickly, and love tough technical challenges.
- Strong product mindset — you think in terms of UX, not just endpoints.
- Autonomous but collaborative — you can self-direct but love working with smart people.
Bonus Points:
- Experience working on fintech, credit, or payments infrastructure.
- Exposure to ML/AI systems and data pipelines.
- Fluent or conversational Spanish (not required).
