This team owns the end-to-end lifecycle, integrity, and auditability of claim financial transactions — ensuring every dollar is accurately processed, traceable, and reportable. Core focus areas include Transaction Lifecycle Management, Financial Data Integrity & Audit, Reporting Enablement, and Search & Index Performance Tuning.What you’ll do as a Senior Software Engineer:Expanding the platform’s offerings for providersContinuous improvements to our tech stack, processes, and infrastructurePartnering with our other engineering teams to enhance configurability within our platformCollaborating with other engineers, product management and design to identify and solve complex problemsContributing to technical design processes and provide improvement suggestions and feedbackPlaying an influential role in growing Snapsheet to be the industry leader in technologyWorking in an agile environment and participating in weekly stand ups, retrospectives, etc.Proactively re-evaluate system performance, flag issues, and suggest alternative solutionsQualifications we are looking for:BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field5+ years of full-stack web development experienceDesigning and building APIsDesigning schemas and performant queries for relational databasesUnderstanding of scalability challenges and performance of server-side codePrior professional experience using ReactPrior experience using Ruby on Rails a plusEagerness to learn from and work with a collaborative teamCommitment to quality and passion for technology and creating cutting-edge solutionsAbility to manage tasks and to contribute towards multiple initiatives during a sprintOur tech stack:Frameworks: Ruby on Rails and ReactMethodology: AgileInfrastructure: MySQL, S3, Redis, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Lambda, Docker, CloudFrontWe’re Built to Grow With You – And That Starts With How We Support YouAt Snapsheet, we know that growth doesn’t happen in a vacuum—it’s fueled by the right support at the right time.
