Idera continues to grow rapidly through both organic expansion and acquisitions, and we are seeking a strategic, results-driven Director of Renewals to lead and scale our global renewals organization across multiple brands.Role SummaryThe Director of Renewals owns the global renewals and retention strategy across 8 Idera brands, leading brand managers and renewal representatives to consistently exceed renewal, retention, and expansion targets. This role is highly visible and partners closely with executive leadership, Sales, Finance, Product, Legal, and Customer Success.You will be accountable for forecasting accuracy, renewal execution, retention analysis, and proactive risk mitigation while motivating and developing high-performing teams. This role requires strong executive presence, advanced data fluency, and hands-on operational leadership including comfort working directly in Excel and Salesforce.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & StrategyOwn and execute the global renewals and retention strategy across 8 Idera brandsLead, mentor, and motivate brand managers and renewal reps to meet and exceed business goalsEstablish clear performance expectations, KPIs, and accountability across teamsProactively identify organizational, process, and data blind spots before they impact resultsServe as senior escalation point for high-risk, high-value, or complex renewal situationsForecasting, Data and AnalyticsDeliver accurate, executive-ready renewal forecasts with confidence and clarityArticulate projections, risks, and scenarios to senior leadership and executive stakeholdersOwn renewal pipeline health, including risk assessment, timing, and deal strategyConduct deep retention analysis to identify trends, churn drivers, and growth opportunitiesBuild and maintain Excel-based models, trackers, and analyses as needed (hands-on)Salesforce & Reporting ExcellenceAct as a Salesforce reporting expert for renewals and retention metricsDesign, refine, and maintain dashboards, reports, and forecasting viewsEnsure data integrity, pipeline hygiene, and consistent reporting across brandsTranslate Salesforce data into actionable insights and executive-level narrativesExecution & Cross-Functional LeadershipDrive on-time renewals, favorable contract terms, and expansion opportunitiesPartner with Sales, Customer Success, Support, Product, Finance, and Legal to remove renewal barriersLead weekly/monthly forecast calls, pipeline reviews, and at-risk account discussionsDevelop and scale renewal best practices, playbooks, and operating cadencesInfluence pricing, term structures, and retention initiatives based on data and outcomesPreferred Experience & Skills5+ years leading B2B software renewals or revenue functionsProven people leader managing multi-brand teams and managersExpert in Salesforce forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management
