About The Outreach TeamThe Outreach Team is the national engine of campaigners and organizers powering the progressive movement. With an on-the-ground presence in communities all across the country, our teams run successful civic engagement campaigns on behalf of progressive candidates, causes, and organizations. We do the work to build a future that is fairer, cleaner, safer, and more peaceful for everyone.This is a full-time position for an experienced campaigner with an eye for details and a passion for behind-the-scenes work and helping offices succeed when they are in a bind. At The Outreach Team, the Roving Admin Director is expected to collaborate closely with the Project Directors and various field office Director Teams to cover for administrative directors when they need to be out of the office for more than a day at a time. You will ‘parachute in’ to various offices across the country as needed to maintain and drive the use of administrative systems and reports. You will play an integral role in ensuring our canvassing operations run smoothly and efficiently, achieving ambitious growth targets and maximizing our on-ground impact.The position is primarily on the road, but you will have some time to be remote from your home base when you are in between field assignments. You should expect to work 40-60 hours per week, depending on how close to elections or other deadlines your project is. We cover the cost of travel and housing when you are out on assignments.Key ResponsibilitiesWork directly at various locations, providing hands-on support and guidance to the Lead Director and canvassing teams.Drive administrative processes in the office, but be ready to help with any other director's responsibilities and needs.Quickly integrate with various teams and pick up on new systems, effectively maintaining organization and reportingManage administrative duties, including reporting data, record keeping, processing payroll, and distribution of materialsCollaborate with local teams to foster a proactive, solution-oriented environment, ensuring all staff are aligned with campaign goals and equipped to meet daily targets.Prepare reports and provide feedback to senior management on campaign progress and problem-solving efforts.Build and maintain a team culture that centers on diversity, equity, inclusion, and justiceTreat staff with empathy and respect, and ensure the managers you work with do the sameQualifications (the must-haves)Proven experience in campaign administration, field operations, or a similar role within political campaigns or nonprofit sectors.Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to quickly understand and diagnose issues impacting campaign performance.Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with a capacity to quickly build relationships within established teams to work together effectivelyFlexible; willingness to meet changing needs and help in whichever way is neededAbility to travel and adapt to varying field environments.Passionate commitment to civic engagement and a deep understanding of grassroots organizing.Detailed-oriented and familiar with field office analytics and administrative systemsAble to quickly new learn systemsA willingness to perpetually expand your knowledge of equity and justice and apply it to your workWhat We OfferThe opportunity to play a pivotal role in high-impact campaigns that can shape the future of our society.A dynamic, supportive, and fast-paced work environment with passionate professionals dedicated to making a difference.Competitive compensation package, including travel allowances and performance incentives.Comprehensive training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and career trajectory.How to ApplyThis is a salaried position with a range of $1300 - $1,412/week, depending on experience, plus an additional performance-based bonus at the end of every project.
