Requirements and responsibilities


Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary liaison between the doctor’s office and personal injury attorneys. - Manage the full lien lifecycle: intake, lien execution, treatment tracking, and settlement. - Review incoming cases for viability, including case age and available funds to support continued treatment. - Read physician charts and prepare clear summaries for attorneys (dates seen, treatments including EMDR, CBT, and referrals). - Coordinate patient appointments and ensure scheduling aligns with treatment plans and case timelines. - Manage incoming communications through Dropbox and shared inboxes, ensuring timely follow-up on all cases. - Proactively update the physician on case status, bridging the communication gap between the doctor and ongoing lien activity. - Follow up assertively with attorneys to move cases forward without waiting to be prompted. - Maintain organized records across MedLegal software, Dropbox, and case management systems. Requirements and Qualifications: - Experience with MedLegal software (required). - Prior experience in a MedLegal, personal injury, or lien-based environment (required). - Outstanding personality and professional presence — the #1 hire criteria for this role. - High urgency and assertiveness — attorneys move fast and this role must match their pace. - Strong ownership mentality — follows up proactively and pushes cases forward without waiting to be directed. - Excellent written and spoken English with clear, confident communication. - Ability to read clinical charts and synthesize treatment information into clear attorney-facing summaries. - Highly organized and detail-oriented — manages multiple active cases simultaneously without gaps. - Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required. - High integrity and ability to handle sensitive patient and legal information. - High ethical standards, professionalism, and respect in all patient and attorney interactions. - Willingness to learn, grow, and develop yourself professionally. Schedule: - 40 hours/week (aligned with practice hours). Pay Range: - $1,000 – $1,400 per month. Equipment: - BYO devices.
