As part of the network, you may be engaged with hedge funds, private equity firms, and family offices to provide strategic, project-based leadership across financial operations, reporting, controls, and business planning.Core Areas of ExpertiseBuilding and optimizing finance infrastructure across alternative investment firmsOverseeing fund accounting, management company accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash managementEnhancing financial reporting, internal controls, and operational transparencyPartnering with founders, CIOs, and senior leadership on strategic planning and growth initiativesManaging audits, tax coordination, and external service provider relationshipsSupporting institutional readiness, investor reporting, and financial governance initiativesWhat You BringPrior experience as a Chief Financial Officer, Head of Finance, Controller, or equivalent senior finance leadership role within a hedge fund, private equity firm, or family officeDeep understanding of fund structures, investment operations, and financial infrastructureProven track record of building scalable finance functions and improving operational processesStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to operate both strategically and hands-on in dynamic environments$225 - $350 an hourImportant NoteThis opportunity is to join Arootah’s advisor network and is not tied to a specific active engagement.
