Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced #NSX-T Automation & #Orchestration Engineer to lead automation strategies supporting a larger vDefend security and #VMware #Cloud Foundation (#VCF) initiative within a private cloud environment. This role focuses on designing, building, and optimizing automation workflows that streamline network security configuration, policy management, and deployment processes across NSX-T and vDefend.You will work closely with the vDefend SME and infrastructure/security teams to ensure scalable, repeatable, and secure automation patterns for the environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain automation workflows for NSX-T and #vDefend, #leveraging APIs, scripting, and orchestration platforms.Collaborate with the vDefend SME to integrate automated security policy management and support #DFW/SSP configurations.Design and enhance orchestration strategies that standardize deployment of network security configurations in the VCF private cloud.Build Infrastructure-as-Code (#IaC) patterns for NSX-T objects, firewall rules, and security policies, supporting #CI/CD pipelines where applicable.Troubleshoot automation workflows, optimize performance, and ensure reliability and observability of automated processes.Document automation designs, standards, and operational procedures for ongoing support and future enhancements.Required Skills & ExperienceAdvanced hands-on experience with NSX-T automation, including use of NSX-T APIs for policy and #configuration management.Strong proficiency with scripting and orchestration tools such as Python, PowerCLI/PowerShell, #Ansible, Terraform, or VMware Aria #Automation / vRO.Solid understanding of network security, micro segmentation, and VMware virtual networking concepts (NSX-T, VCF, vDefend).Proven track record building automation solutions in enterprise or cloud environments.Ability to work independently, drive initiatives end to end, and collaborate effectively with security, cloud, and infrastructure teams.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting or integrating with vDefend-based security services and VCF workload domains.Background in Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD for network/security changes.Familiarity with NSX-T operations, troubleshooting, and performance tuningThanks & RegardsR Suvarna Babu | Sr. US IT Recruitersuvarna@triniteconsulting.com1821 Walden Office Square, Suite 415, Schaumburg IL 60173www.triniteconsulting.com
