St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to perform general and aseptic cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms, auxiliary rooms, and other specified areas throughout the hospital. The ideal candidate will use proper cleaning guidelines and procedures to ensure a clean and sanitary environment for patients and staff. This is a full-time position with a focus on maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety within the hospital environment. Responsibilities: - Perform general and aseptic cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms, auxiliary rooms, and other specified areas throughout the hospital - Use appropriate cleaning supplies and chemicals according to departmental procedures - Clean and prepare patient rooms, beds, stretchers, and other assigned areas in a timely and efficient manner - Scrub, mop, and buff floors - Dust and polish furniture - Clean glass interior windows, woodwork, toilets, washrooms, and fixtures - Clean sinks in the kitchen and clean tables and dining area - Remove trash from areas to designated trash stations - Follow all applicable schedules, sanitation, and safety requirements - Maintain assigned area in a neat, clean, and sanitary condition
