TransferMate is looking for a Head of Payroll to drive the company's commercial strategy in the global payroll sector. The role involves building partnerships with global payroll processing companies and Employer of Record enterprises, as well as selling international payables and collections solutions to clients. The objective is to capture aggressive market share, build a seamless customer experience, and lead a team of sales professionals. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 12 years' experience in the payment/Fintech/treasury/FX/Tier 1 Enterprise environment, with knowledge/experience in the payroll segment preferred. Responsibilities: - Work in partnership with the CCO to drive the new business acquisition strategy for TransferMate in the payroll segment - Build a global strategy to capture aggressive market share across the payroll segments - Create a seamless and frictionless customer experience by building out E2E infrastructure - Serve as the primary point of contact and sales lead for high priority clients, direct opportunities, and partnerships - Identify and build relationships across the Global Payroll space - Drive a team of sales professionals while leading on large, strategic, multi-product, complex business opportunities - Identify new market segments and partnerships for TransferMate to expand into within the payroll vertical - Build and manage a strong, relevant, and sustainable team pipeline - Deliver high-quality personalized and relevant product pitches to potential partners/clients - Educate the team on key topics relating to local and regional payment products, the competitive landscape, local regulations, and complimentary partner services - Work in partnership with shared service/sales support functions including Marketing, Compliance, Treasury, Product, and IT - Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve business and technical issues with partners/clients/internal stakeholders - Offer ongoing education and support to partners/clients about current and future APIs and TransferMate's evolving product range
