Cresilon, Inc is a medical device company based out of Brooklyn, NY that focuses on bringing new technologies to the Animal Health and Human Health industry that aim to solve problems associated with wound healing. They have created a hemostatic device that can instantly stop traumatic bleeding. This Fall, Cresilon is looking to bring on interns from diverse fields in order for them to gain exposure into the industry. There will be technical and non-technical internships available, which will focus on a specific project. Candidates will be exposed to all aspects of the industry regardless of their placement. The internship is a 10-week, onsite program beginning on September 5, 2023 and run thru December 15, 2023. Compensation will be fixed at $20.00/hour for 40 hours/week. Responsibilities: - Assist with supply chain logistics, optimization of processes / process flows, creation and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch records, and equipment installation and qualification. - Assist with conducting routine research and development on the subject of formulation development, polymer chemistry, rheology, biochemistry, and material science and scale-up. - Assist with conducting routine research and development on the subject of designing, testing, and improving delivery devices for Cresilon's suite of products. - Assist with verifying conformance to in-process specifications and proposing and implementing QC assays. - Assist in establishing the Quality Management System, which serves as the backbone of all quality and regulatory requirements at Cresilon. - Assist with product realization efforts, including Design Verification & Validation; conducting quality risk assessments for changing processes; authoring risk documents like FMEAs and PHAs; and support submission of 510(k). - Perform research, provide strategic assessments, and use primary and secondary research data to analytically support existing and new regulatory strategies. - Perform market research, provide strategic assessments, and use primary and secondary market research data to analytically support existing and new marketing sales strategies. - Assist with writing marketing materials, updating social media, spearheading presentations and individual campaigns, and will work with sales to set annual and quarterly focuses.
