Responsibilities
We are looking for a Junior Ruby on Rails Engineer to help maintain and enhance our internal CRM system. This is a backend-only role, ideal for developers based in Argentina who want to work with a product-driven U.S. company, contribute to real-world tools, and grow their skills within a lean, fast-moving team.
Our platform has been live for nearly 10 years and supports thousands of commercial real estate professionals across the U.S. We’re now expanding our systems to include AI-powered workflows, automation, and marketplace functionality. We need someone reliable to help keep our internal tools sharp and scalable.
* Maintain and improve our custom CRM built in Ruby on Rails.
* Fix bugs, optimize backend logic, and improve performance.
* Work on internal dashboards and admin tools.
* Write clean, well-documented code and tests (Rspec)
* Collaborate with a senior Rails engineer and the product team.
* Support API integrations and occasional AI-related backend tasks.
Requirements:
* 1–3 years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
* Proficiency with PostgreSQL, Git, and background jobs (Sidekiq)
* Basic familiarity with tools like Redis, Mailgun, or Heroku (a plus)
* Ability to work independently and communicate clearly.
* Fluent in English (spoken and written)
* Based in Argentina and available to work Monday–Friday during Miami business hours (9 AM–3 PM EST)
* Bonus: Interest in commercial real estate or building internal tools.
