Responsibilities

· You will use guidelines, processes and the advice of your team to help make daily decisions on media work. You’re agile and open to change as part of improving, and you’re always thinking of how you can support your team to drive results for clients and the company. As the PR Administrator, you will: · Categorize communication with media contacts and respond to media contacts, with the end goal of getting media coverage for our clients. You will use a combination of templates and reference documentation, an understanding of the client’s business and goals, and context clues and general media knowledge · Use a customer relationship management and database software to track relationships and opportunities, and to follow up with media in a timely fashion · Work with Campaign Managers to manage day-to-day client programs and intelligently elevate media and client interactions for their feedback and guidance · Follow daily checklists with consistency · Conduct regular meetings with Campaign Managers and director that include concise, effective status updates, action items and questions · Report on account performance and status of opportunities with journalists · Monitor for incoming queries from media contacts multiple times a day and surface relevant queries to Campaign Managers based on industry, product type and story type · Monitor for upcoming queries from media contacts in editorial calendars and create and update central resources for teams to reference · Monitor for and identify media coverage proactively, and correctly attribute it · Liaison with operations team as needed on technical issues impacting client accounts · Work with director of client campaigns on special projects · Participate in professional development activities · Work with PR Volt leadership to map out a path for growth and development as a member of the PR Volt team.
