Responsibilities
🚀 About the position:
⚡ You will have a key role in protecting information systems, through monitoring, detection, investigation, analysis and response to security events. Protect systems from cybersecurity risks, threats and vulnerabilities. Protect the integrity of the company's network and data.
🚀 Responsibilities:
⚡ Analyze Magaya's security systems and seek improvements on an ongoing basis.
⚡ Able to run monthly internal and external vulnerability assessments, investigate identified risks, and work on remediation.
⚡ Report possible threats or software problems.
⚡ Investigate weaknesses and find ways to counter them.
⚡ Provide recommendations on cost-effective solutions to cybersecurity problems and implementation strategies based on industry best practices and governing policies.
⚡ Understand software, hardware and internet needs while adjusting them according to our business environment.
⚡ Develop best practices, policies and security standards for the organization.
⚡ Test company software, firmware, and firewalls.
⚡ Able to add and manage firewall (ISP, DLP) rules and profiles as needed.
⚡ Help other employees with cybersecurity, software, hardware, or IT needs.
⚡ Continuous updating of the company's incident response and disaster recovery plans.
⚡ Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
⚡ Desirable to have certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security +, CCSP or
other cloud computing security and safety certifications.
