Requirements and responsibilities


We are looking for a detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support a dentist’s office with insurance verification, patient communication, appointment scheduling, and virtual front desk support. This is a low patient volume office with steady workflow. Responsibilities: - Call insurance companies to verify coverage and follow up on pending claims. - Enter processed claims and insurance details into Dentrix software accurately. - Make and answer phone calls for patient scheduling and general inquiries. - Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments. - Send appointment reminders as needed. - Assist with patient communication via phone and video. - Support virtual patient check-in and check-out 4 out of 5 days per week. - Maintain patient and insurance records confidentially and accurately. Requirements: - Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written) - Professional and friendly phone and video presence - Comfortable being on camera 4 days per week - Experience working in a dental office environment - Strong knowledge of dental insurance processes and terminology - Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace - Webcam with clear video quality and professional background - Professional appearance during work hours Compensation: $7 – $9 per hour depending on experience with dental insurance verification, Dentrix, and patient communication.
