Company ContextIndustry: Renovation & Design-Build (NOT wholesale)Business Model: Partners with brokerages in New York & MiamiProvides potential buyers with high-level renovation estimates to make listings more attractiveEstimates include cost breakdowns for demo, plumbing, electrical, flooring, HVAC, permits, and timelineHelps clients see potential renovation costs upfront, increasing property sales3. Key ResponsibilitiesHigh-Level Cost Estimation: Create general renovation cost estimates based on predefined cost sheetsInclude estimated timelines, permits, and work approvalsWork with floor plans and propose layout changes when neededCollaboration with Business Development Team: Provide estimates to brokers and clientsAssist in refining the process over timePotential Future Expansion of Role: Assist in detailed estimates if clients move forward with renovationWork with existing remote estimator and sales team for detailed project planning4. Required Skills & QualificationsCritical Competencies:Construction experience: Estimating, engineering, architecture, or project planning backgroundUnderstanding of renovation projects: Familiarity with building materials, costs, and labor pricingAnalytical skills: Ability to interpret floor plans and break down renovation costsTechnical Skills (Nice to Have):Familiarity with AutoCAD, estimating software, or similar toolsAbility to manipulate floor plans for proposed layoutsLanguage Requirements:Strong English communication skills (not necessarily native, but clear and professional)5. Work Schedule & LocationWork Hours: Based on New York business hoursInitially 6 hours/day, with potential to scale to 8-10 hours depending on workload
