Responsibilities & more

What you’ll do • Build and maintain Python automations that log into web portals, pull data, and download files (primarily via HTTP/XHR endpoints). • Reverse-engineer how portals work using browser DevTools (Network tab/HAR files) to identify the underlying requests. • Improve reliability: retries, timeouts, re-runs, clear error handling. • Deploy and operate automations on cloud infrastructure (e.g., DigitalOcean): scheduled runs, logging, basic monitoring/alerting. • Add client-specific rules/configuration without turning the codebase into one-off scripts. What we’re looking for • Strong problem-solver who can work independently and communicate progress clearly. • Comfortable with Python and HTTP concepts (sessions/cookies, headers, auth flows). • comfortable with Linux (running services/cron, reading logs, debugging). • Bonus: experience reducing bot/CAPTCHA triggers through smarter automation (pacing, session reuse, fallbacks).
