This is a hands-on role that blends deep architectural thinking with direct implementation — ideal for someone who can walk into a complex existing system, chart a clear path forward, and see it through to production.Job Responsibilities:Assess the current system architecture (Supabase, Elastio, Composio) and lead the design of a target-state architecture suited for secure, distributed workloadsArchitect and implement a migration plan from the existing stack to the new target infrastructure — minimizing risk and downtime throughout the transitionDesign a hosting and distribution model for an artifact-based execution environment (similar to
fly.io) with live VM/container orchestration supporting intermittent, on-demand workloadsEstablish secure, structured data ingestion from multiple third-party integrations, ensuring data is received, stored, and governed with appropriate access controlsLead SOC 2 hardening efforts across the infrastructure: audit logging, access control, encryption at rest and in transit, secrets management, and compliance readinessDefine and implement strategies for managing loosely-coupled, intermittently-active services with tracked distribution and lifecycle managementCollaborate with engineering leads, CTOs, and stakeholders to align architecture decisions with product goals and delivery timelinesProduce clear architectural documentation, diagrams, and decision records (ADRs) to support handoff and long-term maintainabilityQualifications & Experience:Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or Platform Engineer with a strong track record of system migrations and re-architecture projectsDeep familiarity with Supabase (Postgres, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions) and modern cloud-native infrastructure patternsHands-on experience with container orchestration and ephemeral compute environments (
