American International Industries (AII) is a leading manufacturer and global distributor of beauty and personal care products. We are seeking an Amazon Mexico Marketplace Specialist to support the growth, optimization, and day-to-day management of our Amazon Mexico business across a diverse portfolio of beauty and personal care brands.
This role is responsible for executing marketplace operations, localization efforts, catalog management, promotional activities, inventory monitoring, reporting, and overall operational support. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing Amazon marketplaces, preferably Amazon Mexico, and can independently drive marketplace initiatives while collaborating with Category Brand Managers, Marketplace Analysts, and cross-functional teams.
As the primary subject matter expert for Amazon Mexico marketplace operations, this individual will ensure that product listings, promotions, inventory, and marketplace activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with business objectives.
Please note: This position is execution-focused and does not own brand strategy, product portfolio decisions, or overall business planning. Instead, it supports the successful implementation of marketplace initiatives and identifies opportunities specific to the Amazon Mexico channel.

Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Operations
• Manage day-to-day operations of the Amazon Mexico marketplace.
• Monitor sales performance, catalog activity, and listing performance.
• Identify marketplace-specific opportunities, risks, and operational challenges.
• Support the execution of growth initiatives developed by Category Brand Managers.
• Ensure marketplace activities are completed accurately and on schedule.
Localization & Content Management
• Translate and localize product content for Mexican consumers.
• Optimize product titles, bullet points, descriptions, backend keywords, and A+ Content.
• Maintain accurate, engaging, and compliant product listings.
• Coordinate content updates, enhancements, and refreshes as needed.
Catalog Management
• Create, update, and maintain product listings within Amazon Mexico.
• Resolve catalog issues, listing suppressions, stranded inventory, and variation-related challenges.
• Support new product launches and assortment expansions.
• Ensure product data accuracy and compliance with Amazon standards.
Promotions & Advertising Support
• Execute promotions, coupons, deals, and other marketplace programs.
• Collaborate with advertising teams by providing keyword research and marketplace insights.
• Monitor promotional performance and recommend optimization opportunities.
• Support seasonal campaigns and marketplace-specific initiatives.
Inventory Monitoring
• Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify stock-out risks.
• Coordinate with operations and supply chain teams regarding replenishment needs.
• Ensure products remain available and marketplace-ready.
Reporting & Performance Analysis
• Prepare weekly and monthly marketplace performance reports.
• Track key metrics including sales, traffic, conversion rates, inventory health, and promotional effectiveness.
• Share actionable insights and recommendations with internal stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Category Brand Managers to execute brand and growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with Marketplace Analysts to leverage reporting and business insights.
• Work closely with catalog, content, operations, and advertising teams.
• Serve as the internal point of contact and subject matter expert for Amazon Mexico marketplace operations.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of Amazon marketplace management experience.
• Experience with Amazon Mexico is strongly preferred.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central.
• Strong catalog management and listing optimization expertise.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience within the beauty, personal care, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries.
• Familiarity with Amazon Advertising and promotional tools.
• Experience supporting international Amazon marketplaces.
• Knowledge of Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Data Dive, or similar marketplace analytics tools.
