You’ll own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, partnering closely with hiring managers to attract and hire top technical talent in a fast-paced startup environment. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building pipelines from scratch, navigating ambiguity, and helping an AI-driven organization grow efficiently.Responsibilities:Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, including Software Engineering, Data, Machine Learning, Product, and InfrastructureProactively source and engage passive technical candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, referrals, networking, and creative sourcing strategiesBuild and maintain strong pipelines for current and future technical hiring needsPartner closely with engineering and technical leaders to define role requirements, calibrate on talent profiles, and set hiring expectationsAct as a strategic advisor by sharing market insights, talent availability, and pipeline dataDeliver a thoughtful, high-quality candidate experience through clear, timely, and transparent communicationMaintain accurate recruiting activity, candidate data, and reporting in Ashby (ATS)Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, funnel conversion, and source effectiveness to continuously improve outcomesSupport employer branding efforts by representing CollegeVine’s mission, culture, and technical vision in the marketWhat We’re Looking For:3–6+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles (Software Engineering, Data, ML, Product, AI, or related functions), ideally in a startup or high-growth environmentProven success owning full-cycle, in-house technical recruitingStrong technical sourcing skills and experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other platforms such as GitHubExperience using an ATS (bonus if you’ve worked in Ashby) and ability to use recruiting data to inform decisionsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical leadersStrong ownership mindset and comfort operating with limited structure in a fast-changing companyExperience recruiting for AI-first or AI-enabled products, teams, or companies is strongly preferredInterest in leveraging AI-powered recruiting tools to improve sourcing, screening, and hiring workflowsCollegeVine partners with 200+ universities, deploying agentic AI to power campus operations.
