As our Senior Mobile Engineer, you will build the Flutter app that puts Ceresti’s caregiver-enabled dementia care program in the palm of every family caregiver’s hand. Together, we create solutions that make a lasting impact on the healthcare ecosystem, enabling more compassionate and cost-effective care for those who need it most.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, and maintain Ceresti’s caregiver-facing iOS and Android applications using Flutter and DartBuild elegant, accessible, native-feeling UI that works for caregivers of all ages and tech comfort levelsIntegrate with our Go and PostgreSQL-backed APIs, including secure authentication, push notifications, and real-time data syncManage the full mobile release lifecycle: build pipelines, code signing, beta distribution via TestFlight and Google Play Internal/Closed testing, phased rollouts, and post-release monitoringImplement robust offline-first behavior, secure local storage of PHI, and graceful handling of flaky networksInstrument the app for analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring, and act on what the data tells youChampion mobile accessibility in our appsParticipate fully in our Agile process, and collaborate daily with backend, web, QA, design, product, and clinical teammatesReview pull requests, raise the bar on code quality, and mentor other engineers on mobile best practicesHelp safeguard PHI on-device and in transit, including biometrics, secure storage, and logging hygieneQualificationsEducationBS/BA degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical fieldExperience8+ years of professional mobile engineering experience, with apps shipped to the App Store and Google Play3+ years of hands-on Flutter / Dart experience building production appsDeep experience releasing through TestFlight and App Store Connect, and through Google Play Console (internal, closed, and production tracks)Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, with the ability to read schemas, write queries, and debug mobile data issues end-to-end with the backend teamStrong understanding of state management in Flutter (Redux) and clean architecture patternsExperience with mobile CI/CD, including automated builds, signing, and store uploadsFamiliarity with native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) enough to drop into platform channels when neededExperience with push notifications, deep linking, in-app updates, and over-the-air configurationExperience instrumenting apps with tools like Sentry or DatadogExperience with mobile testing frameworks including Flutter’s built-in test/widget/integration tests or other frameworks like Patrol, Appium, or MaestroExperience using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude) to accelerate developmentExperience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) into mobile experiences, or building conversational/AI-assisted features, is a strong plusHealthcare or HIPAA-regulated experience is a plus; an instinct for protecting PHI is a plusDemonstrated experience working in Agile/Scrum teamsSkillsReliable, persistent and results-orientedEasy to get along with; able to work with a teamMust demonstrate a high level of integrity and ownershipConsistently transparent, courageous and enthusiasticMust be able to pass a background checkWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional growth and developmentCollaborative and dynamic work environmentFlexible work arrangements and remote work optionsAccess to cutting-edge technologies and toolsThe chance to do work that directly improves the lives of patients with dementia and the families who love themJoin us to build technology solutions that empower family caregivers and improve patient care outcomes, all while advancing your career in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
