Mariner is seeking an experienced and visionary leader for the role of Director, Wealth Strategy & Advanced Planning. As a vital member of our leadership team, you will drive the development and implementation of sophisticated wealth strategies and advanced planning solutions, supporting the growth and long-term success of both advisors and clients. You will collaborate closely with advisors and executive leadership to enhance Mariner’s holistic wealth management platform, leveraging specialized resources to deliver exceptional client outcomes and enable scalable business growth.ResponsibilitiesServe as the subject matter expert in advanced wealth planning, delivering consultative guidance and tailored solutions that address complex client needs in areas such as estate, tax, philanthropic, and legacy planning.Partner with advisors to design, implement, and monitor customized advanced planning strategies, providing accountability and measuring outcomes.Develop and oversee scalable training and professional development programs focused on advanced planning, communication of complex concepts, and client engagement.Collaborate across teams to identify emerging planning trends, competitive threats, and potential opportunities for platform enhancements and revenue growth.Provide actionable recommendations and support for best practices that streamline internal processes, enhance advisor efficiency, and secure the firm’s position as a wealth strategy leader.Act as a primary resource for advisors in need of advanced planning expertise and thought leadership.RequirementsBachelor’s degree requiredSeries 65 or CFP, or other similar industry designationsMinimum of 7 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, advanced planning, or a related disciplineDemonstrated expertise in estate planning, tax strategies, or similar advanced planning areasExceptional communication, consultation, and presentation skillsWe welcome your interest in being a part of our firm.
