About this role
What we're looking for:
We need someone with 3+ years of experience as a product engineer at a high-caliber, AI-native startup (think Harvey, Rogo, Lagora, Happy Robot) who has built deep agentic infrastructure and shipped real AI-powered products. You should be comfortable working at a small, fast-moving founding team and have a track record of pushing AI capabilities beyond basic wrappers and lightweight agent tooling. Bonus points if you've worked on vertical AI platforms with knowledge graphs, multi-provider inference, and governance layers.
What you'll do:
Own and rebuild Paratus's core AI infrastructure, moving it from basic agent capabilities to a cutting-edge, production-grade system
Architect and implement a rich knowledge graph that understands the context of units and teams for mission-critical operations
Build an agentic platform enabling customers to create, refine, and deploy their own agents and triggered workflows
Design and stand up a multi-provider inference harness with robust governance, RBAC, and deterministic workflow enforcement
Contribute to full-stack product engineering work (~30% of time) alongside the founding team, including on-call responsibilities
Work directly with the co-founders to define the technical direction of the AI stack and help set the standard for engineering excellence
