About the roleHanu Reddy Realty is looking for a part-time QA Engineer to support quality on our internal CRM platform. This role is at the same experience level as our Software Engineer position on the same project, with a flexible part-time commitment of 4- 5 hours per day.You'll work closely with our engineering team to identify and prevent issues before they reach production, covering functional correctness, API reliability, visual consistency, and overall usability of the application.This role is suitable for an experienced QA professional looking for focused, part-time work on a real, actively developed product.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform manual QA on new features and bug fixes across the CRM platform before releaseConduct UI testing to ensure consistency, responsiveness, layout accuracy, and design fidelity across pages and devicesPerform API testing to validate backend functionality, responses, data integrity, and error handlingWrite and maintat scenarios, and checklists for core CRM workflowsLog, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps and relevant detailsRetest fixes and verify that reported issues are fully resolved before sign-offPerform regression and exploratory testing to identify potential issuesCollaborate with the engineering team to identify edge cases and improve test coverageDevelop and maintain automated tests using Playwright where requiredValidate database data and workflows using SQLContribute to improving QA processes and overall product qualityRequirements3-5 years of hands-on QA experience, preferably with web applicationsStrong manual testing skills, including functional, regression, exploratory, and UI testingStrong understanding of API testingHands-on experience with Playwright automationStrong SQL knowledge for database validation and testingWorking knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScriptSharp eye for visual/UI issues, including layout, spacing, responsiveness, and cross-browser/cross-device inconsistenciesAbility to write clear, structured test cases and detailed bug reportsComfortable testing Next.js-based web applicationsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsGood communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, async-friendly environmentExperience with Cypress, Selenium, or other QA automation frameworksExperience testing applications built with Supabase or similar backend-as-a-service platformsFamiliarity with bug tracking and test management toolsExperience testing CRM platforms or property-tech applicationsExperience perty-tech, or CRM software spaceWhat we offerFlexible, part-time engagement with 4-5 hours of work per dayFully remote work arrangementDirect involvement in shaping the quality of a real, actively developed in-house CRM productOpportunity to work closely with an experienced engineering and product teamOpportunity to contribute to both manual and automated QA processesExposure to modern technologies including Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase, PostgreSQL, APIs, and PlaywrightOpportunity to work with a well-established brand with a strong presence across India and the USA
