Project Summary:
- We are looking for proficient Vietnamese Bilingual Experts to contribute to an exciting AI language development and evaluation project.
- The selected candidates will help improve next-generation Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems by evaluating Vietnamese language outputs, reviewing speech samples, and providing detailed linguistic feedback.
- This opportunity is ideal for native Vietnamese speakers with strong English communication skills and an interest in linguistics, language evaluation, audio assessment, or AI technologies.
- No prior experience in Artificial Intelligence is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Listen to and evaluate audio samples to assess the fluency, accuracy, and naturalness of AI-generated Vietnamese speech.
- Assess pronunciation, intonation, tone accuracy, and linguistic authenticity.
- Identify grammatical errors, unnatural expressions, and contextual inconsistencies in Vietnamese speech.
- Evaluate the cultural and contextual appropriateness of spoken language.
- Prepare clear, structured, and detailed evaluation reports in English.
- Provide constructive feedback and justifications to support improvements in AI language models.
- Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify evaluation guidelines and resolve linguistic ambiguities.
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and timely completion of assigned evaluation tasks.
Required Qualifications:
- Native or near-native proficiency in Vietnamese, with excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Minimum B2-level proficiency in English.
- Strong listening, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to identify pronunciation errors, tone variations, and unnatural speech patterns.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to explain linguistic observations clearly in English.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Reliable internet connectivity and a suitable working environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Academic background in Linguistics, Vietnamese Language, Phonetics, Translation, or related disciplines.
- Experience in language teaching, translation, interpretation, localization, or transcription.
- Exposure to voice-over, audio recording, speech evaluation, or linguistic quality assurance.
- Familiarity with Vietnamese regional accents and dialectal variations.
- Experience reviewing or evaluating language-based content.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Native Vietnamese speaker with strong language proficiency.
- Good command of English (B2 or above).
- Excellent listening and comprehension abilities.
- Ability to identify subtle differences in pronunciation, tone, fluency, and linguistic expression.
