Here, you will make an impact by:Employee Support & HR Service DeliveryServe as a first point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR-related questions and requestsRespond to employee inquiries in a timely, accurate, and customer-focused mannerProvide guidance on HR processes, policies, programs, and available resourcesEscalate complex or sensitive cases to the appropriate HR stakeholders when requiredContribute to a positive employee experience through responsive and professional supportEmployee Lifecycle AdministrationExecute HR operational processes throughout the employee lifecycle, including but not limited to:Hiring and onboarding activitiesEmployee changes and data updatesLeave of Absence (LOA) administrationReturn-from-leave processingOffboarding and termination activitiesEnsure all transactions are completed accurately and in accordance with established procedures and local statutory requirementsMaintain accurate employee data within Workday and other HR systemsBenefits & Program AdministrationSupport administration of employee benefit programs, including:Company housing programsEmployee savings plansGroup insurance programsRelocation support and related reimbursementsEmployee allowances and other benefitsProcess enrollments, changes, payments, and employee requestsCoordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely administrationSpecialized AdministrationSupport administrative activities related to pension programs (DB/DC) and health insurance administrationCoordinate required documentation and submissions with external vendors and authoritiesPrepare and issue employment-related certificates and official documentationEnsure compliance with local legal requirements and internal policiesStatutory HR Administration and Payroll inputsReporting & Data ManagementPrepare and distribute recurring and ad hoc reports using Workday and other HR systemsMaintain data accuracy and integrity within HR systems and recordsSupport data validation, audits, and reporting activitiesAssist stakeholders with HR operational data requests as neededCollaboration & Service ContinuityCollaborate effectively with local and remote HR Services team members to ensure complete and consistent service deliverySupport workload balancing and coverage across the team to maintain business continuityShare knowledge, best practices, and process updates with colleaguesContribute to maintaining clear process documentation and knowledge resourcesBuild strong working relationships across HR Operations, HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, Payroll, and external vendorsContinuous Improvement & Employee ExperienceActively identify opportunities to improve HR processes, tools, and ways of workingSuggest practical solutions that simplify processes and reduce administrative effortSupport implementation of process improvements, documentation updates, and operational enhancementsContribute ideas that improve service quality, efficiency, and employee satisfactionHelp promote consistent, employee-friendly, and customer-focused HR Services deliveryYour Skills and Expertise  To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higherIn addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:Required Experience2-4 years of HR Operations, HR Administration, or Shared Services experienceExperience supporting employee lifecycle activities and HR administration processesExperience administering employee benefits, pension, health insurance, or related HR programs preferredExperience working in a multinational or matrixed environment is an advantageKey CapabilitiesStrong customer service and employee support orientationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively within a collaborative and team-based environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to follow processes while exercising sound judgmentContinuous improvement mindset with a willingness to challenge inefficient ways of workingStrong organizational and time management skillsAnalytical and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesStrong Microsoft Office skills, particularly ExcelLanguagesFluent Japanese and good English (written and verbal)Work location: China, DalianRemoteTravel: May include up to 5%Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being Solventum offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
