🚀 We're Hiring: QA Automation Engineer (Playwright & TypeScript) LATAMAre you a proactive Automation QA Engineer skilled in Playwright and TypeScript with a strong testing background? We are looking for an experienced engineer to build automation projects from scratch, perform functional/regression testing, and support our quality processes!Key Responsibilities:Automation & Architecture: Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks from scratch using Playwright & TypeScript for front-end web applications and backend validations.Test Strategy & Execution: Review functional requirements, design reusable test scripts, prepare test data, and execute smoke, functional, and regression suites.Defect Management & Reporting: Track defects through the defect lifecycle, log detailed execution results, and collect quality metrics for stakeholders.PoC & Scope Evaluation: Perform Proof of Concepts (PoCs), evaluate manual test cases for automation viability, and step in to perform manual testing when needed.Collaboration: Participate in walkthroughs, coordinate test environment readiness, and mentor/support other automation team members.What We’re Looking For:Required:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in QA Test Automation.Languages: Bilingual (English / Spanish) fluency required.Core Tech: Strong programming skills using Playwright and TypeScript; ability to set up frameworks from scratch.Testing & Process: Deep understanding of SDLC, defect life cycle, Agile/SAFe methodologies, test case design, and test data management.Database & Tools: Knowledge of SQL for data validation, plus proficiency in standard productivity tools (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word).Bonus Points / A Plus:Industry knowledge of Life Insurance domain processes (policies, claims, digital application forms).Experience with Leapwork, OOP concepts, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with test management platforms (Zephyr, Qtest, TestRail) and Jira.📩 How to Apply:If you fit the profile and are ready to jump in, email your resume to tahreem@ahutechnologies.com.
