This step will take around 30 mins.The salary details for the role will be communicated ahead of the first recruitment meeting.Role DescriptionWe are looking for a smart, enthusiastic DevOps engineer with a keen interest in current technology. Using your experience of DevOps and engineering best practices, you will be involved in the design and implementation of secure and scalable applications that are transforming industries. You will take an active part in team discussions and you will work collaboratively with your colleagues to identify, prioritise and deliver features which bring value to our clients.We believe small, multi-disciplinary teams are most effective in delivering complex change. As such, we are looking for someone with a collaborative mindset who is happy to be flexible and take on different responsibilities over the lifetime of our projects.Role requirements - technical skills and experienceThis role will suit a highly capable DevOps with at least 5 years of experience working with Azure. Skills and experience should include:Experience building independent web-based tools, microservices, and solutions.Proficient in Terraform and writing scripts and automation using Bash, PowerShell, and Helm.Experience working with Azure.Configuration of complex CI/CD pipelines, especially Azure DevOps.Experience working with Kubernetes and AKS is required.Management of source control GIT.Good understanding of how IT operations are managed.Development methodologies: familiarity with agile working and test-driven development. Use of JIRA.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent command of and proficiency in spoken and written English (working directly with UK/US-based clients).Education: An excellent result in computer science or another STEM subject is recommended, either at the MSc or BSc level, but alternative education pathways will be considered.Nice to have:Experience working with other cloud providers (AWS or GCP)AWS Professional CertificationsRole requirements –soft skillsKey attributes and behaviours to succeed in this role will be:Delivery focus - strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
