Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Aprio Colombia - Dynatrace Observability Engineer to design, implement, and manage end-to-end observability solutions using Dynatrace. This role will drive proactive monitoring, incident management, and performance optimization for critical applications and infrastructure. The engineer will work closely with application teams, operations, and developers to ensure service reliability, scalability, and performance.Position ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and manage Dynatrace solutions for application, infrastructure, and network monitoring across cloud and on-prem environments.Develop dashboards, service-level objectives (SLOs), synthetic monitors, and alert rules to support operational excellence.Integrate Dynatrace with ITSM tools (e.g., SolarWinds ITSM, ServiceNow), xMatters, and CI/CD pipelines.Collaborate with developers, site reliability engineers (SREs), and operations teams to instrument applications for observability and improve telemetry coverage.Analyze performance data and trends to identify and resolve bottlenecks, anomalies, and risks proactively.Participate in incident response by providing deep diagnostics and root cause analysis using Dynatrace.Maintain and enhance AI-based anomaly detection models and alerting configurations.Develop and document standards, guidelines, and best practices for observability and monitoring.Stay current on Dynatrace features and observability trends, recommending enhancements as needed.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience in observability, monitoring, or SRE roles.Hands-on experience implementing and managing Dynatrace solutions (OneAgent, Davis AI, Synthetic Monitoring, Real User Monitoring).Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.Experience with integration of monitoring tools with ITSM platforms and automation tools.Proficiency in writing dashboards, metrics queries, and building alerting workflows.Familiarity with networking, infrastructure components, microservices, and containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker).Solid troubleshooting and performance analysis skills.Preferred QualificationsDynatrace certification (Associate, Professional, or Master level)Experience with additional observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic)Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) or automation frameworks (Ansible, Terraform)Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesITIL or SRE frameworks experienceKey Competencies:Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersProactive, collaborative, and customer-focusedAbility to work independently and as part of a global teamWhy work for AprioWhether you are just starting out, looking to advance into management or searching for your next leadership role, Aprio offers an opportunity to grow with a future-focused, innovative firm.What’s in it for you:Working with an industry leader: Be part of a high-growth firm that is passionate for what's next.An awesome culture: Thirty-one fundamental behaviors guide our culture every day ensuring we always deliver an exceptional team-member and client experience.
