Compensation: Competitive (USD). About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Accountant with deep experience in property management accounting for U.S.-based clients. This is a full-time remote position for an independent contractor who thrives in a structured, detail-oriented environment. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of residential buildings, preparing monthly financials, managing operating budgets, and collaborating with our NYC team. Responsibilities: * Prepare monthly financial reports and reconciliations for assigned properties. * Assist with annual budgets, cash flow projections, and board packages. * Ensure AP/AR accuracy and timely entries. * Communicate with internal teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies. * Prepare variance reports and support audits as needed. Qualifications: * 5+ years of accounting experience (property management preferred). * Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal). * Strong knowledge of accrual accounting and general ledger structure. * Proficiency with tools like QuickBooks, Yardi, AppFolio, or Frontsteps. * Detail-oriented, responsive, and highly organized. * Based in Central or South America and able to work U.S. business hours.
