Role Overview:
We are seeking a Business Development Specialist with a deep understanding of blockchain ecosystems, particularly Layer 1 networks. This role is crucial in driving user acquisition, ecosystem growth, and strategic partnerships to expand adoption of our blockchain.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 User Acquisition & Growth
- Develop and execute strategies to onboard developers, projects, validators, and users onto our Layer 1 blockchain.
- Identify and engage early adopters, Web3 communities, and ecosystem partners to drive adoption.
- Work with marketing, community, and product teams to optimize user onboarding and retention strategies.
🔹 Partnership Development
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships with DeFi, NFT, GameFi, and infrastructure projects to build a strong on-chain ecosystem.
- Collaborate with crypto exchanges, wallets, and payment providers to enhance accessibility and liquidity.
- Develop relationships with Web3 influencers, DAOs, and KOLs to increase brand visibility.
🔹 Ecosystem Expansion & Market Strategy
- Conduct research on blockchain adoption trends and competitor Layer 1 strategies to refine our positioning.
- Attend and represent the company at Web3 conferences, hackathons, and networking events to build industry connections.
- Develop token utility strategies and incentive programs to drive on-chain activity.
Requirements:
✅ 3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or growth roles in blockchain or Web3 startups.
✅ Strong understanding of Layer 1 blockchain ecosystems, tokenomics, and Web3 user behavior.
✅ Experience in user acquisition, community growth, or network adoption.
✅ Established network within crypto communities, DeFi projects, and blockchain developers.
✅ Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze on-chain metrics, user funnels, and ecosystem trends.
✅ Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Nice-to-Have:
➕ Experience working in staking, validator onboarding, or Layer 1 blockchain governance.
➕ Familiarity with token incentives, liquidity strategies, and incentive-based marketing.
➕ Technical knowledge of smart contracts and blockchain protocols (not mandatory but a plus).
