The Product Manager will lead the full cycle of product management from opportunity assessment and ideation, through validation and delivery, to ongoing product management. They will be responsible for the product development and delivery of features, helping deliver Hometrack's vision of driving data-led decision making in businesses that serve, manage and invest in the residential property industry and its ancillary services. The Product Manager will partner with the Head of Product to understand and align the development plan to the vision, strategy and roadmap and organise the backlog, prioritising and assessing items of work for an Agile engineering team, to roll out new products, propositions, enhancements, and functionalities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the full cycle of product management from opportunity assessment and ideation, through validation and delivery, to ongoing product management.
- Identify business problems and opportunities and form hypotheses using customer insights, data, market information, trends and user problems.
- Collaborate with your team through discovery to test your hypothesis, using data and insight to drive your decision making and product development.
- Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders for discovery and to gather business needs and input, resolving issues and clearing obstacles.
- Steer prioritisation at the product team level, within the constraints of the agreed objectives and outcomes as well as manage and communicate tradeoffs.
- Break business requirements down into features and user stories with clear acceptance criteria, working with the Software and Solution Architect to establish feasibility and approach.
- Work with the engineering team to refine stories and estimate subtasks, set sprint goals and plan and coordinate releases.
- Groom, sequence and prioritise the backlog in accordance with the product roadmap, technology strategy and resource availability.
- Support the cross team Agile Delivery Manager to continuously refine and improve our agile methodology.
- Collaborate with commercial, sales and product marketing on the go to market strategy for new products or services including pricing, calculations of costs and ROI and CAC.
- Keep key stakeholders up to date, communicating short, medium and longer term roadmap as well as release planning, management and communications.
- Accountable for the tracking and performance of all KPIs for your product, implementing product analytics and ensuring a focus on performance is embedded within your team.
