This position assures product conformance for dimensional, electrical, and visual workmanship standards in accordance with drawings and specifications. Responsibilities: - Works with product development engineers to establish first article inspection methods and helps resolve non-conformance issues. - Works with product development engineers to generate inspection procedures. - Manages material flow through inspection in a timely manner. - Reads and understands engineering prints, dimensioning and tolerancing principles. - Communicates effectively, determines, and assesses measurement methods in relation to design intent. - Uses visual means to verify product conformance to released specification revision. - Uses IMTE equipment to verify product conformance to mechanical and electrical acceptance requirements. - Writes programs, inspects complex parts, compiles data, and completes inspection reports. - Evaluates inspection results to ensure accuracy and repeatability. - Is self-motivated, able to work independently and function as an effective team member. - Reviews and documents within a Device History Record the ability of the product to meet requirements. - Performs data entry and/or report writing. - Demonstrates safe work habits, maintains clean and safe work area.
