Our goal is to build a better, more inclusive work environment and support our people at every stage of their careers by prioritizing a strong work-life balance through our policies and benefits listed below.What we offerUnlimited PTOExtended Holiday break (Winter)Flexible schedulesWork from anywhere options*100% paid parental leave401(k) matchingMedical, Dental, Vision, Life, Pet InsuranceSponsored life insuranceShort Term Disability insurance and additional voluntary insuranceAnnual Class Pass Credits and more!You Will BeWorking on multiple client websites and digital ecosystems by implementing changes across technical SEO, content, and AI search optimization in order to comply with evolving search engine and AI platform best practices.Optimizing for visibility across both traditional search engines (Google, Bing) and AI-driven discovery platforms (e.g., generative engines, assistants, and answer engines).Expected to retain existing business, while pursuing profitable growth opportunities in assigned client accounts.Communicating via phone/email with clients on a regular basis.Strategizing with team members to develop integrated SEO and AI Search solutions that drive discoverability, authority, and performance.Keeping up with the SEO and AI search landscape through industry research, algorithm updates, LLM developments, and competitive analysis.Creating reports and dashboards to gauge performance across rankings, traffic, and AI-driven visibility, and to demonstrate business impact.Presenting your findings and strategic recommendations to clients in order to influence their content, technical, and AI search strategies.Leading the sales process while calling upon others to assist in solution development and proposal delivery.Working with a client’s development, content, and product teams to implement changes to their website and digital presence, including structured data, content systems, and AI-readable formats.You Must Have2-3 years experience doing SEO work for clients within an agency environmentMinimum 1 year of client facing experience is preferredDesire to lead strategy for multiple large growth SEO and AI Search clientsStrong understanding of SEO fundamentals including keyword research, search intent, technical SEO, and website architectureFamiliarity with how AI search systems (e.g., LLMs, generative engines) retrieve, interpret, and surface contentExperience with keyword research, competitive analysis, and emerging AI search toolsFamiliarity with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, and performance measurement across both traditional and AI-driven search environmentsUnderstanding of content strategy, including entity-based optimization, topical authority, and structured dataExperience working directly on websites (general knowledge of CMS such as WordPress, Shopify, or Magento is a plus)Ability to quickly pick up new skills and adapt to a rapidly evolving search landscapeExcellent multi-tasking skills with the ability to hit and exceed deadlines requiredExcellent communication skills, both written and oral while paying close attention to detailA proactive approach to collaborating with others and managing workloadLocation / Work flexibilityThis position may be performed remotely in most states within the US, with some exclusionsWhile this role offers the flexibility to work remotely, we have office hubs in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, where you can join in on learning and development opportunities, fun events, take advantage of a space to work, and collaborate in person!This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorshipCompensationThe anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $70,000 - $80,000, based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate. At Wpromote, pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget.
