We are a dynamic, growing cooperative with more than 800 employees operating out of eight office locations.Job SummaryThe Manager, Service Implementation is accountable and responsible for timely and successful completion of NRTC Managed Services projects within the service implementation program. This position oversees a team of project management professionals and manages this team in alignment with broader NRTC and PMO standards and policies. This role is accountable for deliverables, schedules, and milestones for deploying the NRTC Managed Services suite of value driven solutions for new and existing Members.ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage the Managed Services Implementation Program and staffOversee and manage templates for implementation projects, requests, and changes in alignment with NRTC Standards, Guidelines, and PoliciesDevelop and manage a team of professional Project ManagersMaintain, manage, and utilize project management procedures, templates, and tools to drive and track completion of work to ensure adherence to department policiesManage implementation projects of high complexity setting an example of exemplary PM performanceFoster motivation within the project managers, as well as all levels of seniority to meet milestones and deadlinesMaintain NRTC’s history of continuous improvement on projects by sharing lessons learned, developing solutions to existing problems, and driving incremental updates/changes to our templatesStay aware of trends related to Project Management and Service Management best practices to find opportunities to deploy better methods and proceduresRespond to inquiries of PMO procedures across the entire Managed Services organization with continual development of relevant subject matter expertiseAssign project work and communicate effectively cross departmentally to support the effective use of internal resources for program success. It is critical that this person is engaged, collaborative, and motivating when facilitating working relationships with the PMO as well as other departments and staffIdentify, mitigate, and manage risks, associated with all projects under this programStakeholder management responsibilities will include reporting and managing communications from projects and changes. Stakeholders will include your project members, the NRTC Project Management team, various NRTC departments, as well as any Member stakeholders identifiedResearch and study Project Management industry trends and best practices while deploying new project management methods to improve current project management practicesPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong experience with navigating project management terminology, phases, techniques, and tools PMBOK and mapping to real world scenariosEstablished project management experience with a track record of successfully completed projectsCommunication skills that are positive and professional, both verbally and writtenAbility to identify critical deliverables and communicate key requirements effectivelyAbility to work collaboratively by fostering and leading a team environment to meet aggressive goalsAbility to quickly learn and utilize new technologies and project management applicationsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with competing priorities simultaneouslyMinimum Education and ExperiencePMP Project Management Professional CertifiedBachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related fieldMinimum of three (3) years' experience managing projectsMinimum of three (3) years’ experience managing employeesAn equivalent combination of education and experience may be consideredPhysical DemandsTravel as needed to NRTC office and member locations (less than 10%)Work is typically performed remotelyDisclaimer: The above job description summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
