Requirements and responsibilities

Hours per day: 12. Days per week: 3. Shift: Night shift, 7:00 pm – 7:00 am (3x12). Weekend and holiday availability required. Schedule notes: auto offers approved, 13-week contract. Job summary: Provides leadership in coordinating and delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care in an ICU setting. Applies the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and family education. Communicates relevant patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team. Participates in identifying variances from patient goals and ensures appropriate solutions are implemented. Required skills and experience: * Apply clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to develop effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit. * Perform a wide range of professional nursing services. * Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff. Education requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN). Certification and licensure requirements: * Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. * BLS certification. * ACLS certification. * Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience. * Previous experience in a Trauma Level 2 ICU.
