PURPOSE OF THE JOBThe purpose of the role varies, depending on the assigned function stream: Quality Operations – Supports Operations team in delivery of services ensuring client and company specific quality standards are met. Quality Process Excellence – Supports the development of processes and improvement effort for the short term.JOB DESCRIPTIONCreating and managing general and client specific language assets as glossaries and style guides.Performing preproduction tasks analyzing source files and creating clear guidelines and instructions for the linguists that will participate in the project.Performing Quality Control tasks.Managing project-related queries to linguists.Analyzing client quality issues and client reviews related to language quality.Managing Linguistic Quality Assessment (LQA) for translation projects.Assisting the language team with administrative tasks in relation to language projects.Education or backgroundEducation including Life Sciences translation training.BA Degree but experience in the industry in lieu of Degree acceptable.
