Responsibilities

We have an exciting 100% remote opportunity in LATAM for a Network Consulting Engineer supporting Cisco Customer Experience within the Solution Validation Services (SVS) organization. In this role, you will: - Work directly with customers and stakeholders to plan and execute complex validation engagements. - Accelerate adoption of next-generation Data Center, Enterprise, and Service Provider solutions. - Design advanced lab environments. - Analyze requirements. - Build test configurations. - Execute validation plans. - Document results. - Partner with engineering, delivery, sales, and solution architects to resolve issues, drive innovation, and uncover new business opportunities. We are seeking professionals with strong customer-facing experience and deep technical expertise in: - Core routing and switching. - Nexus platforms (especially N9K). - L2/L3 protocols (OSPF, IS-IS, BGP). - Virtualization. - Basic automation or scripting (Python preferred). Familiarity with the following is highly valued: - EVPN/VXLAN. - ACI. - SDN. - Kubernetes. - APIs. - Test tools such as Spirent or Ixia. Typically, this role aligns with engineers holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree and 3–8+ years of relevant experience, along with excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
